brown; yellowish brown; reddish brown.
Cocoa is a delicate and sensitive crop, and farmers must look after the trees, making sure the trees are protecting from the wind and sun. Such care is particularly important for younger trees, up to four years old. With careful care, most cocoa trees begin to bear fruit in the fifth year, although some cocoa trees can yield pods in the third and forth years. A cocoa tree reaches peek production in approximately 10 years and will continue producing pods at a high level for an additional 12-13 years. It is not uncommon to find trees 30-40 years old, still producing pods.
It is the mission of CoCoa Kidture to bring attention to the diversity of color and young, new and untapped aspiring talent in the fashion industry. Make no doubt about it, you can find the color of CoCoa any where! However, this blog is going to focus on local talent for right now.
I have a few friends that I would like to introduce you to. They love to rip the runway and they do an awesome job modeling my designs! You've met Asia, she is my little diva across the top of the page: Asia is wearing one of my winter tutu designs. It is a 4 piece outfit that includes: hat, caplet, tutu and leg warmers. In the top left hand corner is my friend Deonna. Deonna is wearing a knitted swing top and my signature tutu skirt made from a pair of black jeans.
Over to my right is my friend Mackenzie. Mackenzie is wearing my cream puff skirt & T-shirt set. The tie is sewn onto the shirt and her white crochet beanie has a big beautiful navy blue flower on the side. Below are the rest of my friends that I would like to introduce you to: Jenice, Tyrah, Nya-Jolie, Kiyara, Neveah, Mikayla, and Keymoni.![]() |

Now I want to introduce you to a good friend of mine. Her name is Tori Carter and she is the CEO/OWNER of a modeling school located in Jersey City, NJ. The name of her school is called "Strike A Pose" modeling studio & social graces. I've met a lot of friends at her school. At her school they teach girls from 5 to 13 years old how to walk the runway and pose for the cameras! There is also another good friend of both mine and Mrs. Tori and she helps to teach the "Social Graces" to the girls at the school. Her name is Lorraine Turner-Cruz and besides being beautiful, she is a very intelligent and funny lady! ![]() | ||
